Hydraulic leak

I have a 2017 Georgetown 335ds. Noticed a leak and figured out it was hydraulic fluid. It is not dripping a lot and can't see anything that is leaking. But there was some fluid on the ground. I assume this is to slide and leveler. The picture shows half full. There seems to be a dipstick with 3 gradiations on it. Which one is it supposed to be up to. Also what kind of hydraulic fluid do I need to add! I am in New Mexico and headed home to NC. If I keep it topped off am I good until I get home? Can't figure out how to add a picture!

Be helpful to know where the leak in located. At the pump it may be over full. With all slides in and jacks retracted the pump oil tank can be to the top line. Check the level run your jacks and slides and note the level. You will have a pretty good idea of how much the tank should hold. If it's over full it will come out the top and drip, to low and you will suck air into the pump, a bad thing. If you have a help (wife) you note the level and let your assistant run the jacks then slides, if your tank gets to empty add to make sure it does go dry.

Use any automotive ATF for the pump.

Hope that helps,
Safe Travels.

But if it is low and your slides and levelers are out, don't add more than 1 quart or you will have a mess when everything is retracted. Guess how I know....

Boy ain't that the truth, me too! Should have been more specific, don't let the tank go dry, I add about a half quart myself. Have the wife run them, gets low stop slides, add a bit. Then run, etc. Found out like others that to much fluid equals a real mess when the jacks and slides retract.

Okay, thank you to all of you! I am all alone so I guess I will retract a bit and check and retract a bit and check. How full when retracted? Do I use transmission fluid?

Full should be about on the top line, should be several lines on the tank. I run just below the top line, which is about 3/4 full on the tank. And yes, as I said before ATF, i.e., automatic transmission fluid to non gear hearts. What I'd do personally if by mysel:

If your not set up check the tank to the fill line and you should be good to go.

If set up, and slides and jacks deployed make sure the tank isn't over full, should be close to the bottom line. Retract away, if over full it will blow it out the overflow onto the ground or do the smart thing and run a slide in, check, run next slide, check, etc. if the tank is full drain some off or it will blow out the overflow.
