Whose bright idea was it to put the hydraulic resivor for the jacks and slides under the motorhome behind the LP tank. Mine was about a quart low from the factory and I had to crawl under the motorhome and use a long funnel attached straight to the quart bottle to fill it. This required sitting up between the frame rails with a flashlight in my mouth and trying not to spill any while blindly pouring in the fluid. I would have to bet that it was designed by some whiz kid engineer that has never been in a motorhome. Lol

What year and model do you have so others may know.

At least you'll only have to do it once. As long as there's no leaks of course. I have a hand pump and long clear hose for remote reservoirs.

Have same situation. Installing the fluid in a Space shuttle is probably easier

Assenmacher Tools makes a container with a hand pump, a little pricey, but better than pouring blind.

I am thinking that a hand pump that screws onto a quart bottle might work. They have the for pumping lower case oil in I/O boat engines.

Guess it is model dependent. In my 335DS it is easy to reach through the basement battery door. I am not that familiar with your coach but it would seem that the cause may be the "pass through" storage compartments. On mine all of the drivers side compartments, with the exception of the large pass through in the rear are for maintenance access (propane, batteries and hydraulics, generator and water and sewage.) These coaches are complicated and sometimes its hard to make everything line up for easy access without sacrificing something. As others have said, at least you don't have to do much for regular maintenance on the levelers and it sounds like a decent compromise by favoring storage over access to the levelers.

Must have changed from the old ones, my 2007 has it in its own basement compartment, you could take the whole thing out in about an hour

I do it the same way. Crawl under and then sit up between the framing. I use a headband flash light so I have both hands free. Not too bad compared to trying to add oil to the engine and brake fluid to the brake reservoir. Ug!
