Do not engage the ignition switch when doing the above the ignition interlock will defeat the slides from working.

What does “wants to run” sound like?

Another poster said your RV has 3 slide switches. Does this happen with all 3?

Does the 13 volts change polarity at the motor when you press extend then retract?

What position are the slides now? All in, all out or somewhere in between?

Ok.. make sure the voltage swaps polarity at the motor when you push extend/retract. There is a possibility the relay is not swapping polarity of the voltage at the motor and the pump is still trying to extend the slide and there is no extend left and the motor bogs/stops. Just a quess...

Removed hydraulic motor , connected 12 volts , still wouldn’t work , opened motor to find 2 of 4 magnets broken
Now have to find correct replacement as motor has no markings anywhere ,

Good news, I think.. looks like you have pinpointed the problem. There was a post on here not to far back where someone rebuilt or maintenances their motor. I look to see if I can find that thread or they might just chime in..

Tks dalford that was great info , I wouldn’t mind paying $800 for a new motor except it’s become obvious Lippert motors are not a quality motor in my opinion ,
Tks for the help , your help is truly appreciated 🤠
