I have a couple of questions, I have a GT 350 ts it is a 2012 but built in June 2011.
Just wondering what are the symptoms of a failed sensor. The second question is has anyone replaced the bolts on your steps?
I had one break last winter in TX, I replaced with a common grade 8 bolt but It feels very sloppy. I wonder if It is a shoulder bolt.
Last has any one replaced their crank up antenna with a king jack? Any problems and where did you the 12 volt.

Sorry it missed the first line. The propane sensor is going off. I shut off propane at the tank yesterday that stopped it but today it is going off again with the propane shut off!

Very common for the center bolt to break. My steps were only 6 months old and it snapped. Couldn't be replace because it was welded in place which ruined the nut. The step manufacturer (LCI) ended up shipping me a new set of steps. This is a common problems with these steps. You can search the forum and read what others said about them. I have never cared for my steps, too flimsy and wobbly.

It's likely your batteries are boiling causing the alarm to go off. Feel your batteries and see if they are more than just slightly warm. If so, you probably need new batteries. Your can also test this theory by turning off the battery disconnect so your batteries don't charged while you are plugged in.

Buy the exact bolts on line. Both the center bolt and the bolts for the side of the stairs. They are special shoulder bolts and using anything else will cause the stairs to be wobbly and could cause further damage.

The batteries have been replaced with sealed units, this solved the early problems with the co2 propane dector.

Have same coach. Had the steps replaced with Kwikee steps. Lippert steps bolts sheared every year. Contact Forest River, they sent Kwikee steps to dealer and were replaced free of charge. My coach was under warranty at time.

Our steps were manufactured with rivets. So far we have lost 3 which I have replaced with bolts and nylock nuts. This is with 215 camping nights of use. Our older camper had stair bolts breaking too.

Up date on propane alarm. While checking all fittings with soap I found a very small leak, fixed it and all seams well for now.

Next day and the alarm going off while washing! Ugh! Today went off again, put fan on it and it quits. I am beginning to think the sensor has reached its life span. It is about 52 months old and the front says replace before 60 months.

I had to replace the alarm after 36months. I also have the King Jack which directly relaced the Winegard. Works great and I get lots more local channels.

Thanks I think I will just replace the sensor. It is going off in the afternoon heat now just sitting a home. If I put a fan on it it will return to normal.

Mogman did you replace the crank up or mount to the crank up. I know they make both styles. I want to get rid of the crank up as it rattles while on the road. Thanks
