Manuals that came with our Rockwood 5ver way back in 2008:

One for the fridge
One for the axles
One for the awning
One for the air conditioner
One for the furnace

and so on. But not one for the camper itself. I went to Office Max and bought an accordion folder/keeper to put them all in.

I don't have a manual. I have a filing cabinet.

After reading through this thread again, maybe it's the dealer's fault some people are not getting the supplement manuals for everything included in their RV.

Bought a used 5er and no manual, no info at all. When I asked the dealership about a manual they told me that I could go online and download one. They could not tell me where to go online to access the info. Once they had the dough, bye bye, and please do not call us or ask any questions. My husband and I figured it all out with the help of other campers. I downloaded the manual but like someone else said it was very generic. We were fortunate because we are fix-er-uppers but, I feel sorry for folks that aren't.

Manuals, need to be directed at user

I purchased my RV new. So it came with manuals. I found them everywhere thru the coach! I put them in 2 binders.

And I find them Pretty general. There are a lot of “sub models” especially in the fridge area that don’t specifically relate to my unit.

If I ever want to know how to install a toilet, the roof AC or the fridge , they’re not bad.

If I have a problem and need some guideline “diagnostics”, something that doesn’t end up saying “see your repair shop”, I find them pretty useless.

All the reference material I use when I’m on the road I’ve found here on the forum, from some pretty great people here, or online .

I learned so much from this website that if we have a problem I say to my hubby "hold on I will look that up on the forum". So glad I found FR Forum! I have read posts that educated me on things that I had not encountered yet but, when I did I was ready!

Apparently you've never read one yourself, or you would know they are pretty useless. Couldn't be any more basic and generic.

my bigger beef is that the manuals are not complete. Furrion solar panel wiring is one. I cannot locate where to run my charge controller to stop overcharging the battery.

Sometimes people /manufacturers don't have great manuals. Most manuals are generic and don't even illustrate where a component is.
Sometimes people don't have or want a blue collar background.
Fortunately there are more people who wish to help others than there are who constantly wish to complain.
So Santara and Skyliner can focus on complaining to each other.
Likely don't care for Camping World either huh??

On-line posts indicate both Zamp and Furrion ports are simply wired straight to the battery. Charge controller would have to be hard wired in or attached to the rear of the solar panel(s).

that would be a NOPE in the case of our 5th wheel Toy hauler and I suspect in other makes and models as well. if it was Furrion wouldn't have been confused out of the gate.

Furrion tech response
"... you are refereeing to the "solar inlet" as it sounds like your RV is prewired for the solar option and if this is they case, it should literally be a straight connection from the solar panel to the support battery."

Note it reads "it should be a straight connection"... but when I sent the pic attached herein the response changed.

Furrion tech response
"I had to talk this over with a tech and unfortunately we cannot speak to how the unit was installed but the wiring should be pretty straight forward."

My situation
it isn't ... and as a result both the trailer manufacturer and Furrion are unsure where the split offs go to 2 different locations (or even why they branch off ) in the image and how to connect the controller so it is observable within the battery compartment at the front of the trailer.

Trailer manufacturer was asked about the tie in to the battery and where the splits are going. Over a month ago their response was"

"For the solar I will need to get back to you"

Unfortunately I only have 2 wires at my battery - one is red to the disconnect switch and one is black to the ground. hooking it to the back of the solar panel input does no good for monitoring the outputs or to tell if the unit is functioning.

And no one seems to know where the 2 sets of wires go to behind the fridge and the stove cavities, or why they are even there.

Sorry but the OPs statement is really naive. I just read a 2018 FR manual trying to help a member here. The Iinformation was non specific, erroneous, useless, and worst of all, outdated by about 7 years!

Don’t believe me? Look at the inverter picture!

The OP is referring to the specific equipment manuals supplied by the equipment manufactures, not the generic FR manual. Most all equipment manuals are available online if you are missing any.
