Info on TANDEM TOW DOLLY
The wife & I are thinking about purchasing a Tandem tow dolly to carry or two bikes and car. Does anyone use one or know some I could talk too.
Tandem Tow Dolly
Thanks

Really cool. Never seen one like that but the only thing I would look closely at is the max weight you plan to carry and the max weight of your MH hitch.
Other than that it looks great!
Is it going to be a Christmas present.
Seems it would be better to pickup at manuf. in Texas and pay US dollars being the large crate delivery to Canada would be costly.
They say...
Due to frequent changes in fuel costs, call us for a freight quote at 866-794-8357
Happy Holidays!

rampddc..........
I recently had a brief and private conversation with someone from this forum about the exact dolly brand you mention...........Tandem Dolly.
I'm hoping he sees your posting if you want to talk with someone who actually owns one.
However................Not sure what make/model motor home you have because there's no info in your signature. Most, if not all Gas motor homes only have a 5000lb hitch. I'm betting a dolly, with two motorcycles and a car is out of the question.
Too many toys.............you need a diesel pusher!!!!!!!

Landgrebe Mfg also makes several model Dolly's that will tandem cycles, golf carts etc. some will more that likely handle two bikes.
I have a Landgrebe dolly and am very happy with the quality and performance.

Looks very nice but I agree, I have not seen any GT hitch rated at more than 5000lbs and getting a bigger hitch is going to require a bigger engine and more breaks.....toys are great but you can't let them get you into trouble.

Many pushers also have a 5000lb rating. I had one with a 360 HP Cat Diesel that had a 5000 lb rating. Had the power but not the hitch!

Weight isn't a problem. The front gross weight of the KIA Soul is 2249 pounds. The motorcycle weighs under 900 lbs. and the trailer is under 1000 pounds. The trailer also is adjustable for tongue weights. You are under the 5000 pounds.

Info on TANDEM TOW DOLLY
To calculate the tow weight you need to take the total of the Kia ( the whole car not just the front), the motorcycles and the trailer.
Kia 2900 ( guessing from Kia web page) + 900 + 1000= 4800 so under but not by much.

Well that is true but the Georgetown has no issues in pulling it. I have only got about 2500 miles on it but don't even know it is behind me. I also have surge brakes on it which means stopping isn't an issue. It is nice having a car and a bike while traveling.

Tandem Tow Dolly
We have a 2007 Georgetown and we pull a Tandem Tow Dolly with our HD Ultra Classic trike and Saturn Vue with no problem. Just came back to Florida from Albuquerque, NM. Purchased the dolly from dealer near Daytona, it was made in NC. Have been using it for the past 3 years. Manufacturer backs up any issues you may have. There are now 4 other owners of tandem tow dollies in our community
