Initial fridge cool down?
We hope to soon be the proud owners of a new 335DS. We've been camping for years having run the gamut from pop-up to large 5th wheel but have not had any experience with residential fridge on the road.
Now, there is no power available where we will store the RV so We are trying to figure out the easiest and most economical way of doing an initial cool down on the fridge.
I am assuming I could run the onboard generator overnight to accomplish this. I also have a Honda 1000 generator that I could use since it would probably consume far less gas (I assume). Are either of these unsafe? Anyone do this using the onboard generator and, if so, how much gas did you burn overnight (assuming you were not running the ACs).
Thanks,
Dave
