I think he means the cost for insurance not the motorhome itself.

Guess you 're right. I'm paying Progressive about 1200 a year which includes 100% replacement.

Now if he means repair insurance, I checked with Good Sam and was quoted around 40 a month with a 500 deductible. I purchased Corner Stone for a 7 year period at about 3200 which is a lot less than GS

We've had Geico for years and no one can beat them for both cost and customer service. I haven't had a ticket or accident in 30 years. DW had a speeding ticket 3 years ago, and a stupid bumper to bumper accident in a parking lot. Basically she was backing up when the back up sensors went off...she stopped and the other person, also backing up, hit her. Her car had a tiny scratch, but the other had more damage. The person that hit her, no license, managed to get money out of our insurance. When we got our new coach I saw one of the stupid Flo commercials and decided...what the heck, let's try it. The price was more than double with progressive. They said it was because of DWs record. This was for two cars, the coach, and a pontoon boat. Really?

When my policy comes up for renewal I'll check with Geico. We originally went with another company because Geico 'a rate was higher, but that's been several years ago.

For some reason I also think a person's location also goes into the determination.
