Interior Door Woodwork Trouble

We own a 2015 GT 351 (3000 miles) and the brackets holding the bedroom pocket door have broken loose allowing the door to slide freely while driving. In addition, the towel hook on the bathroom door fell off. The "wood" in both of these areas is paper thin and I'm not sure how to fix these two things. It may be a warranty fix, but I don't really want the RV sitting in a lot for 3 - 4 weeks while waiting on the repair. Does anyone have any ideas on a solid fix?

Thanks!

PS: We love the 351 and are very happy with it so far.

Paper doors

That is exactly what it is I had my towel rack fall off also. Lowes carries 2,3&4 foot long oak strips that come in different widths and different thicknesses. I purchased a piece 24" wide by 1/4" thick by 2 1/2 " wide and mounted that to the door with glue and a few staple with the air nailer, then mounted the towel rack to that. No problem now
My two sliding doors have web straps with snaps to hold them open when traveling. Frank

I had the same problem (twice). The dealer service department wouldn't put the straps on so we put an oversize pillow on the floor to block the doors from going back and forth when traveling. I know it sounds stupid but the second time the door hardware broke we were turning into a WalMart parking lot. The plastic hardware is not adequate for the weight of the doors.

My towel bar behind the bathroom door came loose too and I just made the holes a little bigger and inserted some small plastic wall anchors and now it's pretty solid.

thin thin panels

We found that the hardware wasn't at all the problem other than tearing loose in one area overloading its mates. The paneling is a little thicker than typing paper - but not much. The previous suggestions of a back up plate glued behind the racks is the only lasting answer (imho)

I filled the screw holes for the door bracket with plastic wood using a tooth pick to get it in, then screwed the plate and screws back in right away while wet and let it set. Solid and no problems since.
