I'll not doubt yours is over the propane tank if you see it there. I do know I own a 378 xl 2013 year model with full size fridge. My inverter is located behind the wooden grill to the right of the frig. I'm attaching a photo of the grill but am not taking grill off as I can look through the slots and see the inverter there with a red on off switch. Maybe forest River figured out what a bad idea it was to locate it where they located mine. Or maybe they were just trying to irritate me like they did by not putting a drain line on the water line going to the frig. Mine does not have one even though Kevin Stratton from forest River said there should be one there. I have to use air hooked up to water inlet with ice maker on overnight to purge water out of frig lines to keep from freezing each year. Click image for larger version

On the 2014 the inverter is above the propane. On the 2014 there is no grill on the pantry bottom.

Wvphil, I went out and yes there is a plug into the outlet in the bathroom from the fridg that has to be because fridg is right next to it. But I have no grill like yours under the pantry mine is a solid piece of paneling maybe mine was a Friday coach and they were in hurry to get out for the weekend 😧 next step is going to cut a hole in bathroom cabinet because you can't see it with door close. Everyone thanks for all the help let you know what I find after I cut the hole

I think the op indicated he had a 13 model. If he has a wooden grill and wants to access the inverter better start pulling the frig or get a saw and start cutting back of inside of bathroom storage cabinet unless he has a pet mouse to crawl in there and take a look. Lol. I think I'd make access through bathroom storage cabinet as I removed frig a year ago to replace a frozen relay block on back of frig. I did it alone but it is a tight fit and required some very special words I'll not post here.

Sorry we must have been posting at same time. If you have no grill I'd look elsewhere. Hard to believe they'd put inverter somewhere without some sort of vent panel. Looks like many are different depending on who is installing inverters on any given day. I bet the guy from Red Bay Alabama puts his inverters in a common place. Also bet his frig would have a drain line for my ice maker. Lol

Ok I found it. Coming into the coach left hand side on top of the steps is a grill like yours which would be above the fridg. I seen that before but thought that is air flow for the back of the fridg since it was in a close area. Thanks everyone. I guess we know now that the same model, same year, are not built the same and I did find the drain hose for the fridg

Wvphil, sorry didn't mean to doubt you. As far as improving the system, they didn't by moving it. My inverter trips the GFI that the transfer switch connects to when I disconnect shore power. The tech thinks there may be a slight surge when the fridge compressor kicks in that trips the GFI. Of course when the tech came out this morning it worked fine when disconnecting the shore power, I will have to test his theory.

I was wondering if Dutch has the same problem.
