RJJ.....thanks for your photo and the details that include that the TOW/HAUL indicator does light at startup. Mine does not. Could be just the bulb inside the dash is burnt out or much more sinister!!! I never got an owners manual to indicate another fuse other than the BIG one (#18?) under the engine hood. Oh well.

Sorry that wasn't it. Sounds like what others have said, it's wires in the button or shifter column. Good luck.

Kenandterry,

If you don't have an owner's manual for the chassis, you can probably download it from a Ford website. They also have service guides.

I think your chassis owners manual will show the location of the tow/haul indicator within the instrument cluster display.
Did you read Bubbles message Fuse #18 in the engine compartment fuse box. 20 AMP
See if you have backup lights and that will tell if its blown or not.

Just an addition. I have a 2012 378 and the TOW HAUL light does not come on prior to starting the rig. I can however push the TOW HAUL (TH) button and the light will illuminate prior to start. In other words, the TH light does not come on at any time on my coach unless selected.

I now have the same problem, my light does not come on any my tow-haul is inoperable. I have checked the owners manual and fuses but nothing is mentioned about it in the manual. There is a recall on these units concerning the shifter connection cable from the shift column to the transmission, I just might have the recall done and have them check out the tow haul wiring while they are in the column.

Let me know if you figure it out, I am having the same problem. Ran a computer check but no error codes came up. Have not been able to locate a fuse
