I've got an ugly roof leak

Got in the rv yesterday after 2 months of sitting and found water damage. The whole ceiling interior was replaced last year and there was no evidence of a leak. This ought to be fun. Click image for larger version

I had this same problem. The dealer who repaired it said the water enter from the running lights above the windshield. They suggest changing the sealant around those lights each year. The only thing they did not repair was the small wood trim. I am still looking for some of the trim.

I think its to far back to be coming from the running lights could be from the seam or anything in that general area. def take it back to the dealer and let them know and have them repair it.

Have you been on the roof? Like to see some good shots above the drivers seat and outer edge of that side of the roof. I bet you will find a dark stain of dirt on the roof where the water say for a long time and didn't drain off.
If the dealer replaced the ceiling did they take the cabinets off the walls? May have a screw penetrating the wall in that area also.

On this note, who advises tarping or covering the roof over the winter? I live in MI and snow is unavoidable and my new camper will sit outside. Tarp or not?

Yes my leak was in the same area. It started from the cabinets above the dash board and made its way about 4 feet back.
