Jack settling

After a few days in one spot we notice that our leveling Jacks seem to clunk and settle. Happens mostly when we walk around the bed at night when you want to be the most quiet. Have to relevel after a couple of weeks.

I seem to remember an earlier posts that suggests replacing a quart of hydraulic oil with for oil. Can anyone confirm this fix?

That’s what worked for me. Started on our first trip. Called LCI and they sent this to us. I did have to add the second quart to fully get rid of it. Been good now for almost 4 years. I used the caterpillar brand.

Hope this helps.

I tried that. Made matters worse.
Now my main slide is not moving in properly. Like a dried hydraulic seal.

Wrapper... How much oil did you replace? Wonder if too much, too little?

About 32 oz. of what Lippert recommended. After a month I replaced with 42 oz of straight ATF fluid. That helped a little but the slide still has a hard time sliding the same speed. The jack still cracks through the night and while walking around.
