Exclamation JENSEN DV2011 CD Player

Anyone have issues with the in-dash RADIO/CD/DVD player? Was tryign to watch a DVD while we were camping, but the output on the TV came out only in black and white and the resolution was very grainy.

This is the installed system that came with my Georgetown 335DS.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

We have a 351ds and had the same issue. A few things to check:
Make sure that the head of the unit is fully connected (remove the face plate and reinsert). On your TV go to settings on the remote and adjust the "input" (I forgot the exact sequence)

When all else fails reach out to your local FR dealer.

I have seen this issue before on someone else's unit. You may have a bad Jensen unit that needs replacing.

I have had the video input cable on the rear of the TV come part way out and cause this same issue.

We had the same problem about 2 weeks ago....you had to switch something in the inputs - it was the 2nd one down, but it wouldn't let you select it so you just had to push 1 and it would switch. I unfortunately don't remember the setting, just that it was the 2nd one that came up on the TV (which is a Toshiba)

I had the same exact issue and it was a setting on the television under the video or picture settings. An additional issue I learned is the system is not capable of viewing DVDs in HD, at least I couldn't figure it out. If someone does figure it out please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

We had the same issue last winter. My wife played with the TV settings and resolved it. Wish I could tell you what she did. Trial and error.

Can't watch HD because there is no HDMI cable to the TV. Big oversight by FR in my opinion. Almost impossible to run one from player to TV. Guess some people have had success with wireless HDMI.
