Just Ordered - We'll be new G-town owners this fall

Saturday I worked with our dealer to order a 2019 GT3 30X3. Delivery time is 10-12 weeks from the factory. We have found several similar units in dealer inventory but all included things we didn't want or need (mostly the loft bed). We'll be trading in our 2007 Itasca Navion. This will be about a 9' size increase. We drove one about a month ago and I loved it! We are looking forward to new adventures in the years to come.

Congrats on the new purchase.

Make sure to include your Georgetown year and model in your signature.....it will help when posting questions. BTW.....you’ll be one of the first with that model, so you won’t have a lot of others to make exact comparisons for awhile.

There are a number of shared ideas amongst Georgetown models, and we’re here for you.

Thanks! I've since updated the sig. Not a lot has changed for 2019 on the 30X3. A couple minor interior changes and the outside entertainment center is now standard. That's one of the things we would have left off if given the choice but can live with it. It will be the world's most unused TV.

Depending on how much space you have in the cavity for the exterior TV, a friend of ours who doesn’t use his either, made a bit of a mini bar.....small bottles, glasses, bottle opener, can opener, corkscrew etc.

He sold the TV fairly fast for someone wanting one for their cottage.

Congrats on upsizing.
It is more than just adding 9 ft.
You are getting 2 slides that gives you a lot more room
More headroom
More storage room
A King size Bed.
Bigger Shower.
Better driver and passenger visibility out the big front window
Bigger TV
Larger water storage, Larger black & grey, Larger propane tank.

Do I need to go one any more?
Where and when is your next big trip planned?

Again ... Congrats on your new purchase.

If I were to publish my "RV requirement list" developed over the last 12 camping seasons it would match up almost item for item. Granted, the little coach definitely has advantages like day trips and easy parking. Still . . looking forward to the new one. And you forgot hydraulic, automatic leveling. That's near the top of my list.

We own the same model but ours is a 2016, it spent 1 year in the shop for slide out issues. We also added a front/rear anti-sway bar.

After 3 years of dealing/fighting with FR over a crooked steering wheel and drifting to the right issues, I went to a specialist and spent $1,000 to have the front-end aligned by a professional. Another GT3 owner who lives near me (CA) had to have his aligned too. We went to the same awesome place to have it corrected.

Welcome to the G'Town Club...hope you enjoy yours as much as we have ours.
I like the size and the floor plan of the 30x3. Did you get the 5o amp package?

Enjoy the wait & ask lots of questions here as some of the group have exceptional knowledge and lots of good links!

Yep. 50 amp package and Maxxaire fan. The outside entertainment system is now standard for 2019. We didn't really want it but that's fine. I'm thinking RV manufacturers are never going to offer the 0 TV option.

We have a 2016 30X3 and have loved it. There haven’t been a lot of posts here for our model. Check out the FR3 forum from time to time as they are very similar to our model.

If chucknviv is talking about his model being the same one called 30x3, Iggys floorplan layout shows it should clearly be a walk around bedroom floor plan.

Am I missing something?

I must have gotten out of the alignment business (20yrs) too early. How do you spend $1000.00 on an alignment, even on a truck chasis? Curious.
