Kitchen sprayer will not flip back and forth

Hi
Haven't seen this problem before, but our sprayer is permanently in shower mode, we've had a harder and harder time flipping it back to stream, and it's finally not working. Anyone else seen this before, and any suggestions? I can unscrew the sprayer but still can't get the button to push.
Picture attached
Thanks!
Garren

You could try soaking it in CLR , it might have hard water build up keeping it from moving.

You can pull the rubber cover off of the actuator. When you pull it off you'll see the two white plastic buttons that activate the spray and stream. Work them back and forth a few times to clear out any gunk and replace the rubber cover. Should work OK after that.

If you are out of warranty anyway... just go to Lowes or Home Depot and replace the whole faucet. You can spend as much or as little as you want.

We are on our 5th RV and one of the first things we do is replace all the cheap faucets.

Had the same problem on my Gtown. Put my hand over the output end of the spray head to block the water flow and pushed the buttons that must have dislodged the mater clogging the valve assembly. Ours now works as advertized.

Our kitchen faucet @ home is totally different than your faucet,,, but I have to take ours apart every 2 or 3 mounts and clean it,,, and apply a small amount of Super Lub !!!

Yeah....that's what we were thinking - I was hoping to avoid having to pull out the old and replace - but depending on the answer from Kevin @ FR we may go that route. It's just so much easier to just unscrew the head only vs replacing the whole thing.....

I did hear back from him this morning - of course, I hadn't included my VIN for him to work on it, so I sent it back and am waiting for an update.

More as I hear it.

And here all this time I thought I was special, I guess not. The problem has gotten worst over the last several months.

So, tried this little trick tonight.....I stuck my hand flat against the base and had my husband turn on the water and push the buttons....after looking at me like I was insane (always love that ) and fully expecting a shower in the kitchen.....it worked! He was like "I'll be damned".

Forest river forums strikes again!

Am still waiting to hear from Kevin, he needed some specifics and was looking into it. It's too bad it's not easy to take apart.....

Thanks again!
