LCI leveling

Greetings
got a 2012 378, after sitting a few days with levelers retracted i have noticed right front leveler drops down a few inches, i have retracted several times to be sure an it does come down on its own, i have also noticed on other rigs they got two big springs on there pads to keep this from happening, can someone enlighten me, an are those springs an after market thing i might be able to find an install for peace of mind .I have know leaks expect for tiny drip on cap of reservoir like everyone else an apparently no fix for that, but reservoir is at level its spose to be,not a hydraulics man, but maybe i'd guess a check valve or something in that cylinder not right ???? thanks

They are a different brand. HWI made in Iowa. LCI hasn't cornered the market on leveler problems. HWI has their share too. I have several friends that have had problems with their HWI levelers. But both companies are pretty good at helping you with them. What you probably have is a leaking valve. LCI has oil on both sides of the piston, so it powers up and down both. Its a two way cylinder. HWI uses springs to retract because its a one way cylinder.
