Led bulbs

Has anyone changed out the ones in coach from the 1141 bulbs to L.E.D.
If so how that work out for you and where did you find them? Seem as the led 1156 bulb are cheaper.

I have changed out all of the lights with the exception of the 6 or so main lights in the living area. I always hated how hot the lights in the slides would get when you would be reading or working on the computer, so they were the first to go. It makes a HUGE difference, as the LED's don't give off heat.

I was confused by all of the different LED styles and prices. I decided if I was going to do the change, I was going to bite the bullet and pay for a premium, well constructed, replacement.

Here is the one I chose, and I am very glad I did:

Marinebeam G4 12V 24V Marine LED bulb

Next, the remaining overhead lights are going!

What 1140 bulbs?
I hvae abunch of 12 volt DC G4 bulbs I replaced with these LEDs.
I bought them from China and saved a bunch. They are 20 watt and I got the Cool White ones instead of the yellowish type.
Bought 10 for $57.70 and free shipping. Yes it took about 2 weeks but worth it. Same ones that Camping World sells for $23 each plus tax.

I also just found the 1156 bulbs at that site also

No problems with any of them and they have been installed a few months now. If iy turned the reflector black I would think it was a loose connection or the way it was plugged into the socket. These things don't put out any heat.

I have different bulbs, but I switched to LEDs. I bought them off of eBay. They came from China and work great!

Mine went to NYC first then to Arizona. So at least you know its coming soon. The Chinese workers were on strike for a few weeks for a penny increase per day. Oh well.

Ya hopefully they come in soon. But it kinda sucks since I was hoping to have them in before my upcoming hunting trip (leaving in a few days). And Just my luck they will probably be sitting in the mail shortly after I leave. I cant believe I ordered October 9th and here it is Nov. 20th and they are still not here. Not impressed.
