When replacing running/stop lights. Be careful of just doing bulb replacements, many of the inexpensive ( ebay LED bulbs) are not bright enough and in some states not legal. If you do go with individual bulb type replacement LEDs make sure they are DOT approved.

When replacing inside lights, again be careful as some of the cheap Chinese LED modules use very RF noisy components and can cause havoc with your TV or radio.

I am assuming you mean internal? I want to do the same. The ceiling lights are all LED but the wall lamps are all still incandescence.

I changed all the 921 stile lights out on the interior of our 351. I had previously tried many different led bulbs from eBay on a previous TT. I found that you need the 24-30 count SMD 5050 chips in warm white color. I got them by the 10 count from eBay for around 35-40$. There is a huge difference in amp draw and heat coming off those lights.

The results: light lumen output is equal to the incandescent bulbs and the warm white LEDs are slightly whiter than the yellow originals. Very advantageous for boondocking.

Here's a link. You do have to be very careful on what you order and know specifically what you want.

Ordered some.......how do you change them. Does the lens cap come off or do you have to remove the complete unit ?

A picture of your fixture would help here, but generally...the lense slides out from the center a little and then will pull away from the base. But not knowing for sure what kind of fixture you have, this may be useless info.

Try ebay as most bulbs are made in China anyway. If your willing to wait, they will ship direct at much cheaper prices than you find other places. For example: Dome Festoon Light, T10 items in up2ushopping store on eBay!. Its important that you read up on light color desired, (i.e. bright white, warm white). Also, if power comsuption is not a prime concern, go for the most lumens. Like 5630 SMD's on the pc board are your best bet currently, to get the most emitted light per a given space allowamce in your fixture.

On the big one, the glass will turn counterclockwise and come out of the chrome fixture. You have to hold the chrome while you twist the glass. On the smaller one the entire fixture twists off (glass and chrome)
