LED lens cover removal

Hi friends!
We are trying to remove the lens covers to clean them today and cannot figure out how to do it and I'd prefer not to break them. 2015 351 DS. I have attached a picture.
Would love some suggestions if anyone knows how, I've been scouring the Internet with no success.....

Some where on this site they were discussing the very same light and from what I can remember you squeeze the narrow part of the lens to together to make the long part oblong.

Just searched again and found this thread.

They don't exactly pop off, we have to squeeze and used a screwdriver.....it shouldn't be this hard!

C&G....do you have the same lights as reading lights over the bed...and do those remove the same way? I tried for about a half hour to get those off a few weeks back and am hoping the fix you found will do the trick.

If you have large strong hands you can grab the two ends of the oval and squeeze them together just enough to get the lens to pop out. I would suggest however taking a carpenters clamp and gently squeezing the clamp on the ends of the lens and it does work.
