LED lights (round frosty) on my XL - elements out...
So I was looking at my ceiling lights on my 16 Georgetown XL 350TS and noticed a light fixture that wasn't as bright. Looking at it shows some led elements out.
SO are these complete replacement or can you replace bulbs/LEDs on these guys. These types of fixtures are new to me.
Where to replace(i.e. get parts) pieces or whole.
I know I am under warranty and could have them replaced for free. But I always weigh the cost versus the down time of having my rig sitting on someones lot collecting dust during prime time camping season.
Thanks in advance.

The average person ( unless you have a electronics lab) should just replace the entire fixture. Most early LED failures are the result of faulty drive components, so the problem will likely come back.

Robot Check
At the Milwaukee RV Show, I confirmed with the Forest River Rep that this is the brand they are at least putting in the Grey Wolf models.

Remove glass cover, remove bulb, seach bulb type on ebay. They are all made in China. They are dirt cheap now, so buy xtras.

If he has this type, there is no glass cover to remove.

Call your dealer. FR had a bad batch ( cheap Chinese components) and will send you replacements for all of them.

Same here as soon as one is replaced 2 more go out or half of it goes out. Yes under warranty, they know they got bad ones. I'm 2.5 hrs away from dealer so I had them.semd.me.replacements and sent them.the.bad one's back. The glass twists off, 3 screws on outside ring , pull gently down its tight fit cut wires use new barrel connectors do reverse done. 4 done and now 5 more are bad. As long as the dealer and mfg cover them I'm ok. I have seen on ebay about $8.00 ea.

Mine don't have the screws - has clips on the back to hold to styrofoam/ceiling. Haven't seen an exact match on ebay, CW or Amazon which seems odd. I need to see if I can find a local dealer here to work with on replacement - worst comes to worst I will call and work with my by-from dealer and see if we can play the mail game.

Mine failed also. Forest River quickly sent replacements. They are easy to do. Just take your time to determine how the fixture disassembles.

They are complete replacement only. Seven of twenty of mine are out right now. Manufacturer had a bad bunch but I think it's more of a problem than they think. ITC is the maker and will warranty them after the first year runs out. FR will replace them in the first year. You can buy some brighter better quality fixtures on Amazon or FR will sell you the replacements for about $13 each. Talk to Isaac Montgomery.

Just replace the whole bulb/unit as it is to hard to find and get just the right led bulb, as for where to go and get the simple just order what ever you have from ( LED light bulb, LED light bulbs for home use and cars) they should have any bulb you have that is already LED, or any you want to change.
Good luck and Happy Camping

As stated earlier, the LED fixtures provided do NOT have bulbs! The LEDs are fixed to a metal plate that is integrated into the fixture and cannot be replaced. Turn the frosted glass lens to remove it, then remove the two screws fastening it to the ceiling. Some are held in place with spring clips - watch those as they're really good at snapping fingers! What you're going to find us that all or part of the LEDs are not lit. If you touch them with your fingertip, sometimes they will light temporarily. Other times they either fall completely off or just turn to a white powder. They are defective. ITC, the manufacturer, is aware of the issue but likes to tell the public it's only a small portion. From what I can tell, it's just about all of them they sold! I have another month of my FR warranty, after which I plan to contact ITC and try to get them replaced. FR requires you to go through the dealer, and my dealer, Lazy Days in Seffner, FL, is beyond useless for anything, including simply requesting the replacement fixtures for me to install!
