Leveling jacks malfunction

Hello all, I have a strange one for you. In a parked position, intending to level my Georgetown, I inadvertently hit the “retract all” button. This clearly shouldn’t and never has done anything in the past, but today it immediately auto-jacked the rig ALL THE WAY up! This didn’t level in normal, calculated incremental movements, it seemed to raise up almost all on one side, then the other...I thought she might actually tip over!

So it is now level, but all 4 wheels are totally off the ground and now the jacks won’t respond to retract. In fact, when I hit the “retract all” button now, it hums like the hydraulic is trying to raise me up further...instead of dropping me back down to the ground again.

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?!
Thanks everyone!
Joe

You might try resetting the system by holding down all four in the diamond shapes simultaneously with the track button.

Yes I tried that and all the other troubleshooting steps in the manual...no luck. I’m totally baffled here!

Have you ever used the retract all before? Maybe the wires are reversed?

You could set the ignition to RUN and release the parking brake which would put the system into alarm mode. The alarm beeper should sound and the panel indicator lights should flash and all the jacks should retract. They should continue to retract till the parking brake is set.

I had the same thing happen to my coach a month ago. Resetting the system didn't work either. It turned out that a solenoid value had malfunctioned and caused all the jacks to extend out fully, raising the wheels off the pavement. I called a mobile service here in the Tampa, Florida area and a tech came out and diagnosed the problem in under 30 mins. He rigged it so we could retract the jacks and then disabled the system until it could be repaired. My coach is now in at Lazy Days in Seffner, Florida getting worked on.

Just before the solenoid malfunctioned, I noticed my coach batteries were drained out and dead. The steps would not even extend out. I had to climb into the coach and start the generator to get some power. I think the LCI system was draining out the batteries. After disconnecting the solenoid value and disabling the system, my batteries were normal again.
