Lewes DE to Cape May NJ ferry
I have 2011 Georgetown 38ft towing equinox. Has anyone with similar rig taken the ferry from DE to NJ reading their site it appears they accept MH but no mention of tow vehicle. Thanks in advance for info

It depends on the overall length. You'll have to call them and give them your overall length. They do allow Tractor Trailers on there, but they have to call and reserve a spot and give their overall length as well.

They mention on the site they can handle vehicles over 60 feet so they don't really care about toads. They charge by the foot length.
You may want to compare prices of the MH and car, driver and any additional passengers compared to separating the toad and driving it on separately.
This may save you some gas money.
Remember that the driver of the vehicle is part of the ferry price.
So if you pull the toad on you must pay the total length plus passengers.

When you figure prices, don't forget the Garden State Parkway.

I've taken that ferry several times and they took tractor/trailers. They had to line up in a separate lane during the wait.

We took it last May with our 32 foot Sunseeker and Pathfinder toad. Our total length is about 55 feet. No problem.
We reserved a spot and arrived just before the earlier departure was starting to load. The lady at the booth was happy letting us go early.

Don't know ware you are going when you get to N.J. But if not wildwood or cape may is it really worth the money if you are going points north 95 to turnpike would be a better way to go

We live in Cape May County, so for us it is pretty much a no-brainer, but even if we headed further north we would take it. The ferry ride itself is fun, and it sure beats the I95 mess thru MD, DE, PA, and NJ. What others have said: make reservations, take it slow, and let the mates guide you - they know RV's and how nervous some drivers are. Propane off, and they may want to peek inside.
