I'm in TX and it is a 2 plate state but I don't think the law enforcement entities care about MH front plates (maybe not even cars unless there is a stop for some other violation). My previous coach had a slot for a front plate but the plate I installed had the name of our coach on it, not the license plate. My current coach doesn't have a slot for the plate and therefore no front plate installed. It's been like this for me for over 20 years with lots of TX highway miles. Maybe I'm just lucky, then again, maybe the thought of pulling over a 40' MH with toad for a missing front plate is just a waste of time, energy and certainly not at the top of the violation list.

They seem to be working so far - here's a photo from the inside (behind the cat)
Now that's a great way to hold the plate to the window.. Considering they sleep 26 hours a day!

Thanks for all the responses.

For now, we're just going to carry it with us and hope for the best.

I thought you may have taught the cat to hold it for you.

You can't make things idiot proof, you can only make them idiot resistant.
