Living room Toshiba TV Cable issues

Coax cable is connected underneath the rv and at the source on our site. Tv is only picking up the antena signal. Using the input select on the tv remote we have one option and it is: Ant/Cable. The switcher box in the compartment above the front passenger side is switched to cable. I switch it from cable back to antena ad the channel changes. Is this a park issue?

I had the same problem on my 378 . The problem was at the plug inside the power compartment. The coax from the back of the plate was had not been stripped properly and it had a layer of material over the center conductor. I would check there first then from there to the switch box end of the coax.

Good luck and let us know what you find.
John

Make sure you have turned off the booster switch. Since you do get roof antenna, it is most likely ON. Turn OFF to switch to park cable.

Great point Herk. Forgot to mention the obvious.
No amp needed for park coax TV.

It is actually worse than "no amp needed for park coax;" If the amp power is ON it actually disconnects the park cable from the camper's distribution system.

Ok is that the white wall socket that has coax input in the compartment above the passenger seat? If so it is set to "on".

You will still need to do an "Auto-search" using the "CABLE" setting of the auto channel search.
