Location of converter/inverter

Thanks for all the help on my last concerns....i have gotten all this issues corrected and now i have another issue. I think my converter/inverter may be bad as some my issues were solved after external charging my batteries....unit was plugged in to elect...but batteries were very weak....so i feel i may have a converter/inverter issue.
-were is converter located
-how can i tell if its bad

I don't know how much help this will be as I have a 2013 XL, or if anyone else has already responded (nothing shows on my phone/app) but in mine my inverter is on the outside, driver side, right above my propane tank. If by converter you mean what I think you mean, again in my model, that is on the outside, driver's side, all the way in the last compartment where my shore cable is located.

I have a 2014 and mine is on passenger side in small compartment that has a black plastic in front of it remove plastic and you will have access, if it is in same location. how you check it would be plug some a/c operated device into plug on side of it they usually come with one or two receptacles. on the input side all you need is a meter set for DC volts.
