Looking for television slide mount for 351 DS

The living room tv is half-way behind the slide when traveling and I'm trying to find a sliding mount that would allow us to pull the tv out for viewing or stow it while on the road.

We have a 40" TV and it looks like I have about 2" clearance between the front of the TV and the slide when it's in.

Has anyone solved this dilemma?

Here is what I used that worked well on my 378TS You can possible use this model for your configuration.
It is a good quality mount and it locks in place against the wall when travelling.
Hopefully the pictures show how far it can come out and swivel.

Thank you for the input. I'm going to measure the clearance this weekend and see if the TV for my RV slide will fit; it looks really strong and if there is enough clearance I think it will be perfect for what I want.

Thanks again. Ya'll are great.

When we bought our 2014 351DS we had asked the dealer if they'd install a sliding bracket for the living room tv so we could use it while driving. We had looked at another Georgetown that had one, can't remember the model though. Because the tv sits in that recessed section it was harder than expected, however they came through.

I will take pictures tomorrow when I have the RV. They had to replace the factory tv with a thinner one that would fit between the bump out portion of the tv wall and the slide trim when the slide is in. They had to do a little fabrication but made it work. The tv slides in and out and locks into place in either position.

If you replace the tv make sure it has audio out RCA jacks if you like the full tv sound from the surround sound setup. Their replacement tv didn't have rca outs only digital audio out so I had to buy a converter box. Since the sliding mount and ultimately new, larger tv were negotiated as part of our price I didn't complain.

I will take pics as soon as I can.

As Iggy said that is a great mount, extends 18" it is a mor/ryde part #TV1-006H cost is $110.00 on amazon free shipping will hold 50 lbs and has mounting holes for 75x75 - 100x100 - and 200x200 vesa (millimeters apart). Very heavy duty and if mounted correctly will hold your tv with no problem. Reason I know I just bought one.

I really appreciate all the advice. I'm going to get the RV from storage today and am taking it to have a tire pressure monitor installed. I'm going to explore the slide options with the dealer and see what they recommend.

Based on your inputs, I certainly think I'll be able to find a perfect solution; when I asked the question, I wasn't sure it could be done. Thanks again.

Here are pics from our 351 today. Hope you find something that works! This works great, we just have to keep an eye on the TV when we close the slide.

Hi, we also have a Georgetown, just wondering if you have had any problems with it?

I take it none of you have the TV in the Front of the coach....It makes life much easier going down the road and not having to install a slide if someone REALLY wants to watch TV.

With 5 kids we needed the front bunk, so no front TV for us.

The sliding TV mount works great for us. Downside is of course you have to go under (or close) it to get to the back or close it to open the fridge.

I was afraid the glare would be a problem at night against the windshield but it hasn't been a problem at all.

We don't have one in front. Where would we put it? I'm not against doing it, especially if those on the cough and dinette could hear it.

I've seen some with the TV above the sink area. The problem with this is that it takes up cabinet space, but I wonder if it's a good trade off knowing the kids could watch TV while we're on the road. Also seems like a better place for viewing in general. Thoughts?

Must have been a new option in the 2015 units. It wasn't in listed when we purchased in 2014. The outside TV wasn't even an option when we purchased. DW really wanted that.

I have the front TV in my 2014, and the 2011 350 I used to rent had one as well.

I think if you get the drop down bunk, you can't do the front TV - ours has the front bunk so no front TV for us......

Wonder if has to do with the taller roof in the 352 vs the 351. I don't have the drop down bunk in my 351. The front cabinets in the picture of the 352 look bigger than the ones in mine.
That's ok though. DW wants to upgrade to a 352 with the Black Diamond package in a few years
