Lower Front Grill

So, on a recent trip I noticed when we arrived at the campsite the front lower grill was missing. it had come off before but was hanging on by a single screw while I was driving down the road, so i was able to reattach it at a rest stop. had to add a few screws to keep it in place, but it worked.

This time, I didn't know it was gone until we stopped. When we got home, i stopped by my local dealership to inquire about a replacement part from FR. It wasn't listed in their parts database so they put in a call and promised to get back to me. A couple of weeks went by with no word, SO I decided to email FR myself to get the part number...figuring I would help the Dealership out.
I spoke to Brittany she gave me the part number (10F19644A) which i proudly took to the dealership to order for me, since we cant order directly from FR.
The parts counter person started punching a calculator and came up with $375.00...... for a Mesh Grill...REALLY!!!!

I asked him to let me get back with him...Decided to check on Amazon for some mesh grill material. found a piece large enough to fit the hole with some extra in case this happens again. $109.00

After some simple cutting, some screws and JB-Weld to keep them from backing out we are back in business.

Hello Chris, would you mind sharing the Amazon link to your grill so we could keep for the future reference or to recommend to someone may have the same issue as you did in the future?

Thank Chris.

I was an attempt to be funny. I normally fail.

In original reference to Hogan’s heroes
