Made more storage 364TS

So we finally got tired of looking at all the wasted space behind the rear TV so we took the area apart and mad a box with two shelves and put it in the big open space.. Then to not interfer with the opening of the door we got a little smaller smart TV.. We did find out that the cabinets were not square.. Imagine that.. Not sure why we got another TV since we never watch TV out camping anyway

So, in photo #1 was that all empty/unused space behind a flat screen TV? Great utilization of that space.

Yes that was the hole after removing tv and 1/4 inch thick panel.. Sad waste of space.. They should of done the same thing as kitchen TV

I had to totally redo my TV metal frame mount. It was 1/4" too long - the cabinet door (TV on Frame) would not close completely. The bottom of the metal frame was too long to fit inside cabinet frame. Don't worry FR, I fixed it at my $1000 expense vs under warranty - yes it was under warranty (1 month in) when discovered - I missed it in PDI. How silly of me to expect cabinets that close all the way when made. I removed, cut metal frame 1/4" shorter, rewelded, sandblasted and powder coated. Reinstalled with perfect fit & movement, then reattached TV.

I also had to install reverse cabinet door above MW and install a snubber. It was installed upside down - look at the rest of the cabinet doors.

FR along with the entire "industry" is completely unprofessional.

You did a really nice job of utilizing the space and the finish work.

We have a 2015 351. Similar set up in master bedroom. I did the same thing. However my door lifts up on a piano hinge.

The door is put upside down so that way the handle doesn’t make dents in the ceiling. Also so short people (kids) can still close the cabinet hahah

Nice job. Dittos on the tv, we have 6 years and 40k miles and have never turned on the bedroom tv. We do not travel to interesting places so we can sit in the bedroom and watch tv

I am so over everyone on all forums (not singling out ANYONE or forum)justifying crap! I guess you missed in the picture that it is OK for the other cabinet doors to hit the ceiling.

With this specific cabinet/door, some have justified it prevents stuff hitting the range/stove. Actually I had to get a step stool to reach things because the door opening down necessitated additional arm length to reach inside to get anything & everything creating the accident waiting tio happen some thinks it avoids!

A lift up door is the only way to go. Also, that is why the restraining bar(s) (in pic) are made by CAMCO and others. If one packs incorrectly, isn't careful, goes in while cooking, … That is their problem, don't design/install incorrectly to cover their incompetence or mistakes, allow me to use it easily, properly, and correctly.

How does the TV con off the wall? Does it lift up or pull out ? I have a 335DS same setup in bedroom as the 364

If you look in the closets on the right or left of the TV you should see a screwed on wall panel. I believe that the TV is screwed in from behind inside this hole. That is the way mine is mounted.

Iggy is correct and I will tell you that the screws are the square drive type and are buried in the wood.. I got them all out but one I could not find so I used a pry bar.. When I installed the new smart tv I used a new piece of wood and did a much neater job
