Main slide jamming

2011 Georgetown..The main slide at the kitchen end is jamming after going out about 5 inches. The other end moves freely. Camping World thinks slide is bent but I don't believe them. It stops like it hit a brick wall. Anyone have a suggestion?

Check to see if anything is blocking the slide under the house floor. That is where the hydraulic rams are and you may have something stored there that is blocking movement.

Never heard of a slide bending myself, your probably right. I would check like lost dog said. I would think you would bend a ram before a slide. Just a guess but maybe they aren't getting equal pressure from the hydraulic fluid.

I would do the following.
1. Visually check both hydraulic rams mounting molts.
2. When slide is in see if all the adjusting nuts and lock nuts are the same.
3. If 1 and 2 look good I would find the specific valve that controls the slide and manually open it with a allen wrench per manual and see if the slide moves out freely.

Can you verify that when you open the slide it goes out evenly or is their one side that runs out first?
