Main water filter

We have a 2015 XL 377 and need to change the main water filter, but can't find any info on what make our model to buy. Can anyone tell me where to look or what replacement to buy? Thanks Richard

Mine was on a sticker on the housing, KW1 I think it was. Fairly pricey for a water filter, so I took out the Filter cartridge setup that came with the unit and put in a standard canister.

The GT does not use the KW1 filter. It uses a standard 10 inch CC10 type filter available everywhere for about $8 for two.

Walmart package of 2 filters with the carbon wrap. $6 or $7
They are for Whirlpool, GE, Culligan, DuPont, Omni water filters.
5 micron and good for 15,000 gallons.

You must get the filters with the hole on the top and bottom or you will not get water flow.

The 2015's had KW1 filters by waterpur, don't use the standard filters unless you change out the housing unit first. If it looks like this you have an FR1 housing and a KW1 filter. Click image for larger version

Notice the difference in the top of the filter it has a male section with an o ring. The canister is not just threads like a standard filter, but has notches and kind of clicks into place. I didn't like this set up and read on numerous failures people had with this system, that's why I changed mine out. Plus I can now get filters pretty much anywhere.
