MCD Windshield Shade Removal

One of the programming wires on my MCD shade has come loose or broken off right at the motor. I discovered it this weekend when the shade wouldn't go all the way down and I couldn't reprogram it.
I will need to take the shade out to fix it and was wondering if anyone has done this and has any advice. Doesn't look too bad but figured I would check and see if anyone else has had to this.

We haven't taken the shade out ourselves, but you'll want to remove the plastic tracks that hold it up and down (lower the shade about 18 inches, and tilt the end to get it out) then you can take the screws out (there are 4 per side) and it comes right out (learned all this when we put our new speakers in)
The MCD website had this instruction sheet that I downloaded on the off chance we needed to remove it.

Planned to follow it in reverse, but we didn't need to do it.....
