Mismatched tires

Is running mismatched tires on the front and rear a bad idea?

Sorry for not supplying all the necessary info. The size will be the same but the brand and tread pattern would be different

I wouldn't do it unless necessity mandates it, but as long as they are the same size and load rating, should be fine.

Make no difference on a TT as they are free running, as long as they are the same size.

Michelin 22.5 are a rare size, so when 1 front failed at 10K miles. We only replaced the front 2 with TOYO's, when the back get too old we'll be getting 4 more Toyo's.
No problems with ride, handling etc in 10K+ more miles.

FYI for any newer Forest River F53 chassis, they STILL DO NOT do a front end alignment!!!
FR will pay for the alignment OR NEW front tires BUT you have to make them.

Why? I answered the only way it could be answered with the available information. He did not give any details so neither did I.

What are you running them on? Is it a TT or something else?

You may have a problem with any other tire on the rear than the Michelin. Most are too wide to work on dual rear tires.
