Had to use two of them to connect together to fit 2 hoses.

Hey Kevin, what did you do to customize the bed? We don't have our unit yet so I can't compare to see what the difference is. Is that a new / different size mattress or did you add a topper or what? Thanks!
|
Complete new mattress, the RV King is the same width as a Cal King, but 10" shorter in length. There is a local manufacture in my town that made it for me.

Ordered the ice maker yesterday. Those that have installed it, is it pretty much plug-n-play?

Iggy, what is the Blue Ox thing connected to the rear end?
The ice maker in the freezer is awesome - now that it's working. Was a quick install but would only make about one tray of ice and then freeze up or something. Had the warranty appliance guy out to check it out, took him 4 trips and numerous replacement parts that didn't so anything until they figured out the problem, which was something about not enough insulation between the frig and freezer compartment when the air duct is behind the back center panel. We were also having issues with things in the bottom drawer of the frig and soda cans in the bottom of the door of the frig freezing (I didn't connect the two as being related to the ice maker issues), once he stuffed more insulation in there been working like a charm with no issues. Goodbye portable ice maker...
Also, not so much a mod as a crappy install quality, but I was getting pretty tired of everytime we moved the unit having to pop of the LED light cover in the front bath to clean out the foam and sawdust (about every third time for the rest of the lights in the coach) so I finally completely removed the fixture and stuck a shop vac up there to suck all the construction particles down, we'll see tomorrow how it works. While I was at it I was tired of looking at the spots on the skylight in the bathrooms and took them down, cascading tons of sawdust and stick bug haven. panels cleaned up great with a wet washcloth and magic eraser. now I need to start from one end and remove every cover, drawer, etc., that is possible to suck out the construction debris, one or two every stop maybe. We were driving down the interstate a few days ago and out of no where a small piece of paneling exactly the same size as an electrical outlet cutout. Few on the passenger side of the dash from somewhere around behind the shade. If they used a shop vac during construction I would speculate these units would be 100 pounds lighter!

Stern, that's a trac bar. Helps keep the axle in line with coach and reduce back end sway.
Here a couple more pics of new mod. Need to add some hardware and a little more paint yet, then mount. Any guesses now?

We have a winner. 😀. lol
Actually it's a fishing rod holder that is going to get mounted above the propane tank then strapped to the floor frame. Going to put a hasp on the door so that it can be locked.

Mods to my 2015 364TS
So today's project was upgrading the outside tv to a 28" instead of the 24" it came with and adding a wall plate with connections to the tv HDMI and USB ports. It came out pretty nice, and it gives me the ability to hook anything up to the outside display from the kitchen counter. Pics to follow....
