Mystery Tool

Does anyone know what this tool is used for? It was in one of the drawers of my Georgetown 327.

While I first thought the dealer had left it in the camper by mistake, it is actually a manual slide retraction tool.

It fits on the end of the electric motor that runs the NORCO wardrobe slide in our Flagstaff 8526RLWS in case the motor burns out.

You will need to remove the trim over the slide to access the rear on the motor, attach the adapter and use a battery power drill to run in the slide. (You did bring one, right?)

I see that my slide override takes this same tool. Does anyone know where to get one?

Lou, I think we have the same slide but I can access rhe back of the motor without removing any trim, do you have a panel over the top of the motor?

One of the first things i ask about

The tool was on the counter when we were doing our walk through at RV Wholesalers, I ask about the tool that was left by one of the workers??

They instructed me on how to use it and where it fit the back of the motor. Lou is right, you will need a battery powered drill and a stool to reach where it goes with out removing any trim.

I tested it to see how good it works, Does a good job!

The trim on my wardrobe slide goes all the way to the ceiling on all 3 sides. While not photos of the slide specifically, you can see the cloth trim at the top.

Oh, and my dealer had no idea what it was for either.

Here are pictures of our wardrobe slide, you can see the back of the motor where the mystery tool fits, and no RVW did not even tell us we had it. I learnt all about this tool from the FROG Rally
