Neophyte - 2011 Georgetown

Just entered the RV world with the purchase of our new 2011 32' Georgetown. We did a short weekend voyage to Lancaster without incident this weekend. A ton of fun despite tornado warnings! I know I'm being vague, but sure would love to hear from anyone re. their experiences, "watch outs" or tips with this particular model. It sure would be helpful to learn from others to help avoid future problems. Thanks.

to the Forums and congrats on the new Georgetown. We love the Lancaster Area as well. There's plenty of nice campgrounds and plenty to see in the area. I'm a train collector so the Strasburg area is like a second home.
As for any thing to look for on the Georgetown, check out the posts about the fresh water tank losing water during a trip. The vent gets water in it from the sloshing and syphons the tank down to about 1/4 tank or less. I added a valve to shut the vent off during travel and others have used other ideas to solve their problem. If you look through the Georgetown Post you'll see all kinds of topics. If we can help with anything particular just ask.

We have a 2010 Georgetown 379 and have been very happy with it thus far. We have put 7500 miles on it in the past 17 months and have no issues that are Forest River related. Best advice given to me was "man who drives RV slow in campground has no scratches". Have fun and be safe.
