New 2014 GT 378xl Generator Probs

Hi all

We have a 5500w generator on our 2014 GT 378XL. I have been running the generator 5 hours a week. This past week in wont start, all the switch does is flash 1 time, no start. I even wait for an hour and re try still nothing.

We have moved to Rainbow springs state park, FL as campground hosts for 3 months and i tried again yesterday and 1 flash and nothing.

Is there something i'm missing?

Check the Onan book for how to read the flash codes on the start button.

Full tank of gas.
If im reading the book right 1 blink is shut down due to high temp?

I am hooked to the park pole w/surge.

Also what is this. Something we didnt have on our 335 and the walk thru guy never showed us what it does.

The green light is not on.

Is the light and switch a small inverter? Changing battery power to 115 when shore power or gen not in use? Do you have a res refrig? If one flash is high temp you may have bad sensor, would guess its a limit against starting, like low oil pressure is, keep reading the book, maybe narrow it down.

You have a 2014. It's a warranty problem and you should have a dealer fix it.

Yes we have a residential 3 door fridge. Not found anything else about about why not starting.

Calling mobile warranty tomorrow for it as this is our full time house, not staying at a dealer.

Good move on that. Now you know to kick on this power supply for the fridge whenever you are not on shore power or running the gen set.

Is the engine turning over at all?

The switch in the photo is to power on your inverter. It uses your house batteries to power your refrigerator. I leave ours on all of the time since it has an automatic transfer switch that will disconnect the batteries if it senses shore or genset power.
