I am dealing with the slide issue now and prepared to implement your posted solution with lengthening the rails along the rollers.
Did your previous modifications not work or have issues? Seems like there is additional support needed for the rails where they connect to the slide

For me, I tried the solution and it helped. My problem was the last foot or so on the return of the slide coming in. Still had a nasty catch to it. Our 364 has been in the shop for over a month now and supposedly they've fixed it. I'll find out Friday when I pick it up. I just wanted to make sure it was documented by the dealer and FR before the warranty ended.

Sorry, not sure who you are addressing, but yes, it worked perfectly. No more bounce.

Just worked with the local dealer and Jeff Hood at FR on bed slide issue . Basically did exactly what you recommended but put the screws from the outside of bed into the 2x6 rail. They used some angle brackets to connect rail to bed and not twist. Works much better now. Time will tell.

Bdrm slide manual override
I'm having the same issues with my bedroom slide coming out. I believe it's the same issue others were having because of a design failure. The lights above the bed also don't work and I believe they were severed due to this failure with the slide out. I've heard the gear to manually open is located above the bed. Can anybody tell me exactly where before I go cutting into the panel? Thanks so much!

If you open the cabinet above the bed the back panel in this area can be removed exposing the motor etc. no cutting needed

To fix the lights you need to remove the deck in the bed box. Why do you want to get to the slide motor? The issue as far as I can tell is under where the slide itself transitions to the bed box. Interested to know what you plan to do with open excess to the motor?

Thank you both so much for your reply. We're currently 1600 miles from home the slide will not come out. The lights above the bed are also not working so that is a separate issue. That's the least of my worries right now so I'll take care of that when I get home at my family reunion in Nebraska. We just remove the panel and it looks like the gearbox is stripped so that is our problem. Thanks again!

May check the pulleys also. One of mine was flipped. See pic. Luckily I noticed it when they replaced my motor. See how wires are crossed that is not good. Pulley is behind black plastic.

Interesting to know about how to get t the motor. I'll have to check that out the next I'm messing around back there. We plan a mod of cutting the deck down to queen size to actually have some space on the sides for getting in and out, also adding some mine end table sort of thing with cup holders and charging stations, as a good quality queen mattress.

I believe your power cable was cut. Lift the bed and look in the storage area. Unscrew the plywood floor panel in the front and the I bet you will find the power cord severed.
Check my article to see how to secure it when you fix it.

Here's what mine looks like. I don't have the plastic pipe that covers the wires it must be tucked back behind the left side.

Looks like one is flipped on the right. You can remove the black plastic and check it out. If you can flip the pulley and see if it straighten out

Solution for 364ts bed slide issues
Well, my 2017 slide has always had a big bump when being retracted but I lived with it until it didn't want to retract without being on external power or the generator. I reviewed all of the posts and the pictures by SternHappens on 3-30-2016 were very helpful. I removed the floor and found that the slide dropped off the roller when extended. The installed 1x4 did not provide a smooth transition so I first installed a 2x4 support under the bed floor which helped but the slide still had to climb up over 1/4 of an inch when the fiberglass shell of slide contacted the roller. I took it to the dealer and they had me order the kit which contains 5 metal slide plates. They advised that they couldn't install them because 2 of them were too short to reach the rollers for the foot of the bed. After weeks of trying to get them to fix it, I picked up the coach and the 5 slide plates. Last week, I fixed it so that it works perfectly in about 1 hour. I took 2 of the slide plates and installed them from the foot of the bed. They are really long and are always in contact with the rollers. I extended the slide and used the countersunk holes and mastic to fasten them to the underside of the slide. I also screwed them into the 2x4 support under the bed floor. When I reinstalled the floor, I drove a couple of screws through the floor and into the 2x4s to provide more support for the slide plates. (Forest River item 10F20446A - $63.95 each dealer price). I only used 2 so I still have 3 and the dealer won't take them back although they were not needed. Let me know if you have any questions. An easy fix. My picture files are too big to attach. I will try to reduce them in size and send a follow up.

364ts bed slide pictures
Here are the pictures related to my recent post about fixing the bed slide.
1. Shows the 1x4 installed under the bed storage floor which did not match up at all with the slide wall which caused a huge bump.
2. Photo of the slide plates purchased through LazyDays from Forest River. Note the countersunk holes indicate that the screws must be inserted from this side to enable a smooth ride over the rollers.
3. A picture of one side of the finished installation. Note that in the fully extended position the roller is still in contact with the slide plate and it rides smoothly on this plate when the slide is retracted
4. A view of the other side showing the completed install.
