New 2016 364ts Bedroom slide question

We recently purchased our 364 and are loving it. We've only been out a few times and I've noticed that the bedroom slide doesn't retract as smoothly as the main and bunk slides. It's almost as if it catches, or "bounces" up and then back down right before fully closed. Is this normal? Coming from a TT, we expect to have a few issues that need to be worked out, so I'd like to make sure this isn't something I should be putting on my "warranty list". Other than 2 ceiling speakers that get "hot" and cut off, we've had zero issues.

Have you taken the time to lube the slide mechanism yet?

Some time that is all it is.

I haven't done that... I will give that a try and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have been told that the slides haves some pieces of chain in the slide. They will bounce some when the chain is getting wound up. Again that is what I was told. I don't remember on my unit if it bounces. I will be pulling it out next month for spring break and will keep an eye open for it.

Thanks, Snoodledog. I'll try to inspect it again this week when I'm not in a rush to pack and go. Not sure if it's in my head, but it appeared to be worse this morning when we headed out from a weekend check ride.

I have the same problem. We've been through two repair cycles including damage to the floor. The dealer is making a third attempt at repairing it.

The bedroom slide on my 2016 364TS does the same thing. As originally stated, I don't notice it on the other slides.

Sounds like a trend. As part of the first repair, the dealer said they installed some plates on the floor to allow a better motion. The second repair was done by another dealer (I was on the road and the floor was getting torn up) and they cut some of the wood off the bottom of the end of the bed to keep it from scraping the linoleum. The third repair includes new rollers and some adjustments to the cables (as far as I know). I haven't seen whether the 3rd repair will do the trick or not--waiting for the dealer to finish other repairs before I go to pick it up. I probably won't get to see it until next month.

Immediately take it in for service! That was the advice from the factory rep when I detailed exactly the same issue with ours, plus the vinyl flooring being ripped up by a screw that was coming through at the end of the bed used to hold down the deck inside the storage area. we had issues with the overhead lights in the slide going dead and it turned out to be the cord twisted up until it popped the connections, oddly enough the wiring comes under the bed and attached under that deck. I am still waiting on parts to come in (slide repair kit)(and vinyl flooring patch) to get this resolved. Missed a 13 day trip to Texas after Thanksgiving due to this and we are trying to get ready for a 32 day trip out west beginning in April and already started to get worried - since I've been waiting on the parts to come in from the factory since the end of November!!!!!! Other than that only a few minor issues. Antenna didn't rotate freely with the lock button pushed in - seems the access hole wasn't cut straight and the coax was snagging as it rotated. We had some slight wrinkles in the trim that runs down each side of the unit at the top, wrinkles were in the front where in inserted into the front cap I think, anyway they completely replaced the trim pieces and bodyshop guys did a good job. We had an issue with the step being very spongy and they replaced it, last about a week and there was a loud pop as i came into the unit one day (I weigh in at 250), so spongy again, guess I'll take it down and she what it needs, I'm guessing to be reinforced at one of the mounting holes. Most other minor issues I have taken care of myself, along with some creature comfort features. Good Luck and Safe Travels!
