New 2019 Georgetown GT5 34H5 - we moved up!

We traded our Class C Winnebago Aspect 26A for the Georgetown GT5 34H5 and brought her home this past week. This beauty is almost as big as our house!!

So much to learn!! Having to do some maneuvering of vehicles at home before we can level her and move out the slides...exploring what we can while she’s closed up. A carport area is in the works but that could take a while. Excited, for sure...also trying to be realistic about facing issues that could arise. So thankful for all the knowledge and experience shared on this forum.

We are Bob & Carol, known here as BigBluePop & RedBugNana

New 2019 Georgetown GT5 34H5 - we moved up!

Went to the Hershey show this past weekend. That model was the one that stood out of all the motorhomes we looked at. Nice layout! I should say, out of the motorhomes in that price range.

What kind of mileage do you get with it? We have a sunseeker 3010 and get around 8-10. Same engine, but the GT is about 10,000 lbs. heavier.

I get between 7 and 7.5 with our 36B5. The dash ac doesn't keep things cool enough for the kids in back so we are usually running the generator to run the ac units while driving.

The dash a/c barely keeps the front seats cool when temps climb up into the mid 80s or higher. We almost always run the generator and A/C when traveling .
We are averaging around 6.7 mpg on the 36b5 pulling a Chevy Equinox toad.

Last trip, 8 mpg. We don't use genny when traveling, dash air keeps the two of us comfortable.

Very nice! We moved up from an even-smaller Itasca Navion to a GT5 31R5. We love the coach and I love the way it handles on the road versus the rolly Polly Mercedes chassi.
