New 351ds AC Question

If all goes as planned will take delivery of new 2014 351ds this week.

Just realized that there is an option for the larger 15000 AC unit. The model we are getting does have the 2nd AC unit added, but both are the 13.5 units. Living here in the South I am fully aware that it is difficult to cool these motorhomes on a hot summer day. Was wondering if the stock AC will cool to a somewhat comfortable level or do I really need to consider having the larger AC unit installed?

Also, is there anything in particular that anyone had problems with after delivery that should have been caught on PDI that you would recommend I look for.

Thanks for any advice

You might want to consider the 15k.
But since it already has the 13k a/c's You might want to try them first before you spend the cash.

We have 2 13.5's in our 2011 and it has not been a problem keeping cool. As for things to look for, I would say just keep a pad and paper in the MH and write everything down. After our shake down we waited till the end of the 1 year warranty to bring it back in, so a list to remember everything is critical. Good Luck!! I am sure you will love it.
