New GPS/Audio Solution

I was poking around "dream coaches" and found that they're putting this into the Winnebago Tour. Hmm... anyone have thoughts about a retrofit for ours? :-) This looks SWEET!!! XSNA - XSG2NA X2L

I like the concept of having a built in RV aware GPS. I don' t have to worry so much about height with the TT, but the one I have in my truck has occasionally asked me to take some pretty sharp turns that just aren't possible with the trailer.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll have the budget for any kind of retrofit like that anytime soon.

Chris,
That looks pretty interesting - did you see any prices? we aren't big fans of the current audio unit, and being able to integrate it would be cool. Trying to figure out how it would fit into the current space....

On another note, I enjoyed the pictures of your 2013 351, some subtle differences to ours (most obvious, the carpet, and also, the shelves between the bathroom and bedroom - ours have doors) and your shower head is on the opposite wall (ours is on the one facing the bedroom vs the outside) other than that, pretty similar!

I don't like the total integration of everything..one thing breaks & it all goes away. Doesn't have HDMI or front audio or usb jacks. Having Rand McNally do the mapping is a good idea to assure future upgrade compatibility.

I didn't get a price nor do I even know if it'd fit! I think it's an interesting idea though!

Chris, I'd love to see picks of yours! I've always said there should be doors on those shelves.

Chris,
I will look for some, but I don't think they have the right angle....I have some of the doors open, with some adjustable shelves we made and installed.
I will take some next time we are out at the storage area, we have a bunch of new stuff from Christmas to load up....!

We upgraded to the Pioneer AVIC series. Nav, DVD and handled a backup camera. Everything works great in a double DIN mount.

We added the same thing as tycham and WOW what a difference. Nav, 3 Cam and Bluetooth. Very cool. Beats the Jensen to death.
