Think it is time for me to give those emails a try. I did send Williamsburg info the other day via their website. But, I will definitely try another route with Forest River.

Received my captains chairs and couch covers today, they look good and match the chair they had sent, whole process took from Oct 7 to Dec 15. Happy they stepped up and covered this.

Ok, what was wrong with the original covers, are they wearing out so fast?

Hi rekwiat, former Waukesha resident. Whole lot warmer here in Orlando.

Some of the upholstery used on Georgetown's and many other RV's has a delamination (the face flakes off from the underlying cloth) problem. Its not limited to Georgetown's but we seem to have more than our share. The furniture vendor is Williamsburg Furniture. They provided new covers at cost when ours started falling apart. Fingers crossed that they hold up over the years.

FWIW: A friend who does upholstery work said that the new fabric looked like better quality than the original but that it still wasn't something he'd use on a high end build. He said the high heat generated by the rig sitting in the Florida sun will eventually degrade the new fabric. Just a matter of how long it will take.

Hi Pilotalso, thanks for the reply. We will be in Florida in March, first Pensacola then on to Tampa. Will be looking at all the Class A MH on the LazyDays lot while trying to find the floor plan that fits our needs. DW is a stroke survivor, and needs a larger bath room. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you and yours!

That would have been nice but he's happy in Houston.

Most of mine is original. Both driver and passenger seats have been replaced for other reasons. I also live in Orlando area. I hope they hold up in this sun! It amazes me that they would not "spend" the extra dime to get a better quality and not have all the warranty work! FR needs to push vendors for higher quality.
What also amazed me, is you have to send a picture of the tag under the seat and picture of the seat and they send you wrong model and wrong color every time!!!

My New items arrived Friday of last week.

The dinette cushions that had to be shipped because they couldn't ship the covers alone arrived in this box....

Turns out it was two entire Dinette seats, Storage compartments, backs and back cushions........(300lbs) all I needed was the seat cushions....I also received a new barrel chair.

Much more reasonably sized box.

Now I am just waiting to see what they do about the sofa cushions.
