Wife and I just took delivery of our very first class A ever - Georgetown 364TS. Interestingly enough, the Ford chassis is a 2016 while the Georgetown build on top is listed as a 2017. Go figure.

So far, we love it. The shakedown run was the 400 mile run back home from the dealer where we took delivery. The delivery experience was great (Thanks Colerain RV in Cincinatti, OH). The drive home was exciting. And, surprising the kids with a new delivery was priceless.

We are not new to camping, but certainly are new to class A traveling. Any tips?

It's very common to have a chassis this is at least one year older then the build

Our 2012 is on a 2011 chassis but we did buy it in 2011.

Welcome! You may want to check out the thread "mods to my 2015 364TS" to get some creative ideas on how to set it up. A bunch of people have shown pics and shared ideas that I found helpful.....

Congrats! This model was our first class A as well, couldn't be much happier. So much easier to drive and back than my 35 foot TT, especially love 2 decent sized bathrooms and showers! Makes camping with 4 kids so much easier...

Don't forget some jack pads for places that require them...made or bought, and a socket for your water heater anodes or plugs. We bought some wheel covers, bus size works. Oxygenics shower heads work well and super simple to change.

Washer dryer combo works nicely if you have or want to add. Other than that don't have much to add.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and suggestions. We camped our first night together as a family in the new unit over the weekend. Awesome experience for us all.

We graduated from a bunkhouse model 36' TT. Loved that trailer, but this class A is just the cat's meow. What we have on our unit:

Double pane windows
Home theater
Outside TV
Passenger worktop
Fantastic fan
W/D combo
Convection MW
Rear AC w/heat strip
Power drivers seat
Front overhead bunk
Day/night roller shades
Stainless package
Window awnings
Tire/wheel covers

We will be towing a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Club on a tow dolly. Didn't want to invest in the transmission pump and front tow brackets for this vehicle. Will be towing it for the first time in a couple of weeks. Dolly has electric brakes and have installed a Tekonsha Prodigy III controller (boy was it hard finding that wiring under the dash).

One issue we had over the weekend camping - the auto level function is not even close to level, no matter how flat the parking spot. It sets up with the front left lower than the rest of the coach, by a lot. I measured it when I got home and manually leveled the coach while using a 4' bubble level. It was off approximately 4" front to rear and about 2" left to right (as in, the front was lower by 4" and left was lower by 2"). That is a lot of movement. Any way to reset the level on these things?

Hey Stymie,

Curious, what's the total weight of your Dodge + dolly? Seems like a heavy combination. Have you gotten your rig, fully loaded, weighed to see how much margin you have for towing?

Grand Caravan weighs in right at 4400. The dolly is right at 5oo. So, I am at max for the hitch. We travel very light with very little gear/cargo, but no, I have not yet weighed in the RV to see what its fighting weight might be.

That leaves me 21000 for the RV and gear. Just have to get to the scales and see where I am at when loaded.

And, sorry, its a Crew, not a Club. My bad memory.
