Newbie!!
hello everyone, we just got a 378ts and we love it. heard about this forum and decided to join today. Looks like there are a lot of great people with great advice. We have been on 3 local trips so far and have found that RVers seem to be very freindly people. some minor issues, we have the ice maker and water option on our fridge but neither work. removed the panel outside and confirmed that there is water pressure at the valve but can not get it to dispense..ideas anyone??
thanks
ray and cyn

Welcome, welcome.
Take the time to go through all the old pages of this particular forum. You will find lots of great ideas, warnings etc. It will take a while but why not learn what not to do and how to fix the common problems.
As for the ice maker, do you have the arm down? I know that's basic but all of us make basic mistakes. With an RV like ours there's way too much to remember so basic mistakes happen a lot.

Welcome, Ray:
We're about as far away as we could be from your location and still be in the USA! We have an '02 GT325 and we're very happy with it. We bought used from somebody local who was the original owner and had to give up the RV lifestyle because of medical complications. His wife was in tears when we dorve the rig away.
We didn't get to use it much last season as our elderly Chocolate Lab could no longer get up and down the entry steps. Now with just our 8-year-old Lab, we're hoping for a more active season this year (and maybe a new puppy!).

Hi Ray & Cyn,
We a new Georgetown 378 as well. At one point we were not getting any water out of the dispenser as well but after the fridge defrosted it started working again. It was making ice all the time. The fridge was defective from day one and was replaced by the dealer after it was winterized and the water tastes like antifreeze so did not using the dispenser very much. I'm sure you will like your Georgetown. We like ours and will like it even more once we get all the bugs worked out. We have an appointment with the factory to have some little things looked after in Elkhat in the spring. We will be returning from south Texas and can stop there on our way home. I have found Forest River to be very good to respond to our problems. I wish there was more then one dealer selling Georgetown in Southern Ontario. (My father taught me if I had nothing good to say to say nothing)

The arm is down but this unit has water and ice door dispensors and neither one is working so I do not believe it is connected to the ice control arm. I have spent some time going through the old posts but I believe that this fridge option is new for 2012, not absolutley sure though...
Thanks for the welcome!!!
