So true, so true!

A newbie question... I have no dealers close to me, 2.5 hours away at least. But talking to a dealer about 7 hours away. If I purchase from the dealer far away, can I get it repaired at the dealer 2.5 hours away? Still not a good thing even at 2.5 hours if I get a home like some of you have had.

I didn't know Forest River also built the space shuttle

Good question and glad you are asking this before your buy.

The first thing you need to understand is that the RV dealer you did not buy from is not required to do your warranty work. Sometimes they outright refuse. Oftentimes, they will tell you that they will do your warranty work after they have taken care of their other customers. Occasionally, the service department is happy for the work and will provide the same level of service to you as to their buying customers.

So, you can get it repaired at the closer dealer, but it is really up to them.

It's a little known and seldom used trivia fact. I just hope my TT has a better ending than the shuttles.
