No Hot Water

Washing dishes and hot water suddenly cut off. Opened pressure relief valve and tank is full. Any ideas. No hot water coming from any taps. Any ideas?

If cold water is coming out of your hot water taps, check the by pass on your hot water line. If NO water is coming out of your hot water taps, check for plugged or broken line.

Just a thought. If you have a pull out faucet, perhaps the hose is pinched under the counter.

I believe the poster is stating that water IS coming out of the HOT water faucet(s), but is not HOT. So--I would have to ask: Is this an electric water heater or gas fired water heater? One would have to know this before any troubleshooting could begin.

HI
I'm also having problems with mine on 2011 378 unit. No hot water anywhere on propane or electric but water tank is full. Checked fuses and nothing blown, I do not even hear a spark igniter when using propane (propane tank is full). Pressed resetbuttons at heater. I have 2 switches, one at hot water heater should this be on? One on control panel with a rest light (no light (should this be on) is there a trouble shooting guide anyplace as I am very confused

Thanks

Jim

Suburban WH Tech Info.pdf

I believe you have a Suburban WH. Here's the info that should help you out. You may need to reset the water heater outside behing the rubber caps for both gas & electric. Hope this helps.

Heater

HI

Thanks for this

Hot water is now working.

All I did was exercise the three valves for hot/cold & bypass and this fixed it, I think

All also did a few other things

bottom line I have hot water now on gas & electric

Jim
