no propane

We have a Georgetown 373 2009. I had the propane tank filled in July
and shut off the as we were not going to use it till Nov
Now in Nov I opened the valve but got no propane in the rig.
It felt like the valve didn't open. It's very loose, as in no pressure
against it.

Hi!

I had the same curious problem with my tanks. The issue seems that if the tanks are overfilled just a little and then you open the valve too quickly the tank safety actives and you get no propane. The safety is used in case you get a blow out in the line so all the propane does not come out in an uncontrolled manner. Open the valve just a little bit to equalize the pressure for a minute then continue to open the valve the rest of the the way or open the valve SLOWLY.

Good Luck.

You can also open the vent and let alittle propane out.

You have to have the LP Leak Detector turned On or the solenoid valve won't open to allow propane to flow.
Your gauge on the tank should show whether you have or don't have propane in the tank. The Monitor inside should indicate this as well when you press the pad for LP Level.
