One Step Closer
My husband, our two girls and I attended the Chicago RV show yesterday and again today. By the time we left, we had the paperwork completed and our deposit put down on a 2015 Georgetown 364TS.
We're very excited!!!

Congratulations, we just took delivery of our 364TS last Monday and just spent our third night in it. We are thoroughly enjoying settling in, and wife and kids are loving it. Enjoy!

Congrats!!!
Seeing you're in Central IL, are you ordering through Pontiac RV? We bought our 2014 351DS through them and they had a huge presence at the Chicago show.

Yes, we are ordering thru Pontiac RV. With a service department in McLean and Pontiac not being that much further, it just made the most sense. Plus, they gave us a better deal than the other Forest River dealership at the show.

Great! We've been very happy with their service department. We've had to follow up with them as opposed to getting a call when parts are in or the coach was ready for pickup, but they have done quality work for us, are extremely friendly and have always completed everything they said they would.
I had ours in to install parts we had ordered and asked them about having a front-end alignment done. They were able to send it to the truck repair shop across I-55 from them (in Pontiac), have the work done, then handled the paperwork with Forest River. As you'll read here it's recommended to get an alignment ASAP, which has been covered by FR, and makes a significant difference on the handling for most of us. Combined that with the Cheap Handling Fix (CHF) and proper tire inflation and you're good to go!
There are some other threads of lists of things you wish you had negotiated in or added right away, check those out. I had Pontiac install a whole house surge guard which I'd highly recommend. We also added the in-motion satellite, mixed reviews on that one. One thing I didn't do was have the tow light receptacle that's mounted on the bottom of the hitch relocated to the top of the hitch as many forum member's recommended. And I did exactly what they said I'd do...cracked it off going up a steep driveway. Pontiac RV took care of that for me also. I didn't think to look if they changed the mounting location for 2015.
So how long do you have to wait to get it?

Fortunately, the show was indoors. There was even a skywalk from the hotel to the convention center

I'll look for that list.
They are telling us it will be 4-8 weeks.
Until then, we are trying to figure out where we are going to park our new baby.
