I was told by a long time friend that is a Ford diesel mechanic to leave the new 6.7 ford diesels alone. No deletes, no chips, no tuners. Change oil and fuel filters regularly and you won't have any issues with motor. It is already a high performer w/o adding mods.

That's kind of my opinion on these chips although I have never done any research to make a educated decision.

I have the Cummins 6.7 diesel in my Ram and do stick with the factory scheduled maintenance program. We are very satisfied with all aspects of its performance and I won't take the chance of voiding my warranty by installing one.

The OP is asking about performance chips on a V10 gas, not diesel.

My opinion is that the performance gains on the gas V10 would be minimal and you could improve the fuel mileage as much by changing your driving habits.
